Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Here are some FAQ’s. If you need any more information please contact me.
Can I print myself or do I have to print with you?
Digital download and printing release is given in every session and wedding that I do; however, I cannot guarantee that the images you print elsewhere will be of the best quality. You in a sense get what you pay for. I do try and keep my prices competitive with others so that you can have the best quality image up in your home, and ordering prints through me is incredibly easy! You can place orders directly through your online gallery.
Do you use props?
Props aren’t really my thing. I like to keep the images about the people that I am photographing.
Do you use a flash or lighting?
I am a natural light photographer and love to use the light to enhance the photo vs bring hot lighting that makes many people uncomfortable. I can and do often use a flash in a low lit reception, but I also take images without a flash to allow for ambiance.
Do you edit all of our photographs?
All the photos selected by me; including outtakes, will be edited in color and also black and white. This also means that I spend a lot of time editing and making your photos just so. Please don’t crop, or use your own filters.
Do we get the copyright of the images?
The short answer is no. While I obtain the copyright, I freely give the printing release to every client.
For weddings, do we give you a shot list?
I am not a shot list kind of gal. I have a certain order and flow to formals and group shots that makes things move smoothly. I am quick moving through photos and like to start with larger groups and end with the couple. It is fun to just have time for the two of you and send everyone else away to relax on their own.
